FIWARE ZONE (Sevilla / Málaga) and FIMAC (Macaronesia) held the first “inter hub” collaboration on January 31 and February 1, 2018.

FIWARE ZONE holds the highest rating in regards to iHubs (3 stars) and FIMAC has just received its “Basic” certification. This new experience was carried out in Tenerife (Canary Islands). There were two training sessions focused on the use of FIWARE technologies and were taught by Daniel Villalba (FIWARE ZONE)

Topics such as introduction to FIWARE and its “Generic Enablers” (GE), “Smart Cities”, IoT (“Internet of Things”), success cases, practical exercises, etc. were discussed. During the conference, the companies benefiting from the FIMAC acceleration project were present, among other attendees.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the dissemination work carried out by both FIWARE iHUBs, as well as to deepen their knowledge of the FIWARE world.

For FIWARE ZONE and FIMAC means “laying the first stone” for future collaborations.
