Problem statement

WiseTown stands for “Web Information Streams Enhancer for your Town”. The goal of this solution is to collect information from different streams to identify the issues that affect the city in several areas: urban renewal, garbage collection, public safety, transportation, social services and environmental problems.

Description

WiseTown is more than a single web application, it’s a whole ecosystem for web and mobile that offers, other than crowdsourcing functionalities, applications and modules to:

• Perform analytics of the town issues and other information in order to improve the real time event management and future urban planning;
• Act as a situation room for real-time events management;
• Create a participative environment where citizens and town managers can discuss city development
