Ethical Advisor for the Data Space Support Centre Project
Position: Ethical Advisor Data Space Support Centre (DSSC)
Role Description:
The DSSC seeks an experienced Ethical Advisor to assess the ethical and legal compliance of its communication and dissemination activities, particularly regarding data protection (GDPR). The advisor will review the project website, events, and user interactions, ensuring compliance with ethical principles, informed consent, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review user journeys (website, newsletter, events) for GDPR compliance.
- Advise on ethical considerations in data processing and user interactions.
- Provide recommendations based on compliance findings.
- Deliver two reports: one by January 31, 2025, and a final one by October 15, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ethical assessment and EU project evaluation.
- Strong command of English.
Budget: €10,000
Time Commitment: 160 hours
- 80 hours in January 2025
- 40 hours (Jan-Sep 2025) for consultations
- 40 hours in September 2025 for final report
Evaluation Criteria:
- Price: 50%
- Qualifications: 50%
