A full day seminar on Future Internet Opportunities in Smart City Environments will take place in Madrid next Tuesday, May 13th.

During the seminar, organized by AMETIC and es.INTERNET, there will be presentations from several stakeholders involved in the development of the Future Internet in Spain, with special emphasis on the opportunities that are arising for Smart Cities and municipal services. More than twenty experts will speak, with representatives from the European Commission, state and local administrations, R&D experts and startup accelerators.

National and European strategies such as the Future Internet Public-Private Partnershing will be one of the main topics, as well as the 80 million euros for direct funding for SMEs and web entrepreneurs.
